Improving People's Lives - The A4e approach.
A4e is a successful international business that works with governments and the private and third sectors to design and develop social inclusion programmes that benefit individuals, organisations and communities.
Four common themes underpin our work with government. We:
- Deliver a wide range of services to individuals that are marginalized and excluded
- Tackle market gaps and address market failure in the delivery of public services
- Join up public services to enable socially excluded clients to access them
- Engage 'hard to reach' individuals and organisations in public services
International success
 In 2005, we became the first UK-based organisation to export welfare to work expertise; successfully delivering the 'Mehalev' welfare to work programme in Israel.
We have continued to grow internationally, we now operate in:
- France - delivering a non-mandatory employment programme for the next two years. A4e will be delivering a programme of support and skills training that will enable the unemployed to return to work.
- Germany - A4e began delivering employment support in September 2006. The programme has exceeded all expectations and secured over 100 jobs, which has contributed to the award of additional contracts.
- Poland - A4e is consulting with the Polish government and a number of other public, private and third sector providers as Poland builds a strategy to improve unemployment rates and drive enterprise.
